The Stephen Lewis Foundation fights AIDS in Africa at the grassroots level.
I directed and produced a trilogy of documentaries for the Foundation between 2006 – 2007. It was a life changing experience.

I was fortunate to have tea and film with this holy man in 2001, Thich Nhat Hahn. His books on Mindfulness are essential, beautiful and profound.

One of my favourite photographers is Annie Leibovitz. I love portraits. Most of my films are like portraits.

Another favourite photographer is Jo-Anne McArthur. For over a decade she has been creating a legacy; an international photographic documentary essay We Animals. Jo is the main subject of my currrent documentary THE GHOSTS IN OUR MACHINE.
